Whilst we may not be using our cooling systems just yet, we are slowly moving into warmer weather, meaning now is the time to have your evaporative cooler serviced before the summer heat hits.

Ruth and Frank were very organised and called us at Unitests to have a look at their Brivis Evaporative Cooler. We went out there and found that the unit needed the pads replaced and the fan blade fixed.

The unit was over 15 years old and was due for some upgrades. It is important look after your unit to ensure that they can run for many years, working efficiently, maintaining temperatures, and lasting longer without need for replacement. 

After the initial service we returned with the parts needed to fix the unit. Our licenced plumber repaired fan blade and installed the new pads. Changing the pads on an evaporative cooler is important as dust and debris can build up, preventing the filtration system from working efficiently and distributing healthy filtered air throughout your home.

The service and repair went well and Ruth and Frank were left with a working unit that was clean and ready to use in summer.
